Psalm 4
The Safety of the Faithful
To the Chief Musician. With stringed instruments. A Psalm of David.
1 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have relieved me in my distress; Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.
2 How long, O you sons of men, Will you turn my glory to shame? How long will you love worthlessness and seek falsehood?
3 But know that the Lord has set apart for Himself him who is godly; The LORD will hear when I call to Him.
4 Be angry, and do not sin. Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still. Selah
5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
6 There are many who say, “Who will show us any good?” LORD, lift up the light of Your countenance upon us.
7 You have put gladness in my heart, more than in the season that their grain and wine increased.
8 I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.
Psalm 3
The Lord Helps His Troubled People
A psalm of David when he fled from Absolam his son.
1 Lord, how they have increased who trouble me! Many are they who rise up against me. 2 Many are they who say of me, “There is no help for him in God.” Selah
3 But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the ONE who lifts my head. 4 I cried to the Lord with my voice, and He heard me from His holy hill. Selah
5 I lay down and slept; I awoke for the Lord sustained me. 6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around.
7 Arise, O Lord; Save me, O my God! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheekbone; You have broken the teeth of the ungodly. 8 Salvation belongs to the Lord. Your blessing is upon Your people. Selah
Psalm 2
The Messiah‘s Triumph and Kingdom
1 Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, 3 ”Let us break their bonds in pieces and cast away their cords from us”
4 He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision. 5 Then He shall speak to them in His Wrath, and distress them in His deep displeasure: 6 “Yet I have set My King on My holy hill in Zion.” 7 “ I will declare the decree: The Lord has said to me, ‘You are My Son, today I have begotten You, 8 Ask of Me, and I will give you the nations for your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for your possession. 9 You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’ “
10 Now therefore, be wise, O Kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. 11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. 12 Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.

Psalm 1
The Way of the Righteous and the End of the Ungodly
1 Blessed is the man, Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. 3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind drives away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in judgement, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish.
What a beautiful summer night! Full moon…
What a beautiful summer night! Full moon tomorrow even so its captivating.
Wild Thing
“I never saw a wild thing
sorry for itself.
A small bird will drop frozen dead from a bough
without ever having felt sorry for itself.“
— Self-Pity DH Lawrence
Moonbeams Across Dewdrops
I feel the tremble of a thrill as I voice my long concealed secret.
I believe in miracles, there’s no one like YOU
The organ beats wildly against it’s confinement, desperate to explode into a thousand shards of ecstasy and encase this moment in it’s own perfection.
You captured my hand in your own, planting a light kiss on my palm before placing it over your heart.
“You stole this.”
Your presences attracts me, caresses me like down feathers and silver smoke.
I tilt my head up fractionally as your face decends towards my own, lips eagerly seeking contact with mine.
You stop a hairsbreadth away from my lips, and I groan breathlessly in anticipation.
I wrap my arms around your neck and graze your delicious lips lightly with my own.
Your lips move so naturally against mine, tasting of fate and tomorrow.
Tiny little threads of fire slither deep into my flesh, causing miniature quakes to twitch across my skin.
YOU set my soul ablaze with a thousand fires of the most unadulterated love and passion.
I can feel YOU, like the first caress of gold in the twilight, taste YOU, like the memory of a destined kiss.
YOU seduce me with a love so vigorous that the very touch of your gaze takes my breath away.
Last night was amazing. More than that.
It was unbelievable, phenomenal, breathtaking, spectacular.
I have never felt this close to any one before.
We didn’t even make love last night.
Instead, we touched each other’s soul with butterfly kisses and feather light caresses in time with the newly joined beating of our hearts.
Just being there, in your arms, your lips marking moist trails along my neck while mine graze the curve of your ear, was the most passionate, intimate experience of my lifetime.
Of any lifetime.
And the way you looked at me…
It was like staring into the eyes of a newborn child, all innocence and trust.
Like there has never been another person to fall mercilessly under the spell of your dark brown eyes.
It was more than lust or love… It was as if your soul and mine united into something unexplainably… pure.
Like it was meant to be, and always has been.
Your essence called to mine with the hymn silently prayed by lovers since the beginning of time, and I knew how to answer every pledge your psyche gave me.
“Ohhh at last
The stars above are blue
My heart was wrapped up in clover,
The night I looked at you.”
